Hello World! My name is Cheyenne Steele. I am a lover of the Divine! Knowing me is knowing love for life. Knowing the Truth is knowing the Real. I have started Attainment and this Blog, not so much because I am concerned with knowledge, but my whole concern is with LOVE, intense, passionate love. I am concerned with how to fall in love with the whole, how to be in tune with the whole, how to bridge the distance between the creation and the creator. We are taught by the whole of our education, from parents, peers and teachers that the world is some kind of duality and the creator is separate from us, higher than us and that we must renounce our life to come to this creator. Through practice, I have learned what to renounce and what to go deeply into. Learn to Love Passionately, Totally. Be present. A passion for Reality, for the Eternal is what I have gained through practice. You need a Love that is ready to risk all in order to come to the Divine, to realize Enlightenment. And I believe love needs a proper atmosphere in order to grow. I have been practicing meditation since I was 18 years old. I am now 43. And though I practiced with great discipline, it was always through friendship that I grew, that the words given by the Masters became alive! I read once a passage that read something like, “Spiritual Friendship is not part of the path, but the whole of it!” I have found this to be true! Without Spiritual Friendships growth can be difficult. I hope you will find a place here to share your strengths, challenges, hopes and successes! I once read a quote that explains my heart, “Wherever the wild ones meet, the mad ones meet, wherever there is simplicity and love, and wherever there is prayer, remembrance of God, this miracle happens. You may not be able to see it. It is happening. I am not just teaching you about God. I am not interested in giving you knowledge about God. I am sharing my God with you. It is a sharing. I want to challenge your God which is asleep inside you, to provoke it!” I am lover of life. I wish to share with you my passion and practices and to provoke the potentials in you to actualities. My goal is to invite you to join me in becoming wild, mad with love, rejoicing your life, drunk with the Divine, to experience the bliss of pure consciousness.
